Job functions are identical to prior tenure with US Bank.  I have executed high standards for branch operational compliance as well as overall productivity.  I have taken this opportunity to rejoin US Bank to further advance myself in various areas of professional development.  Central to this is the area of personnel development and training.  US Bank facilitates a mentorship program which has allowed me to remain in contact with the company’s training department.  This has offered me insight and guidance as I transition into a career in education.

Responsibilities included the handling of basic transactions (deposits, withdrawals and payments) as well as troubleshooting potential member complications with personal banking issues.  Position required proficiency in cash handling as well as adept familiarity with point of transaction software, imaging software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  I was also chiefly responsible for ‘on-the-job’ orientation and training for new employees.  Additional responsibilities have included updating membership status, recommending proper financial solutions to members when applicable and sole responsibility for account and loan auditing standards.

Time with Circuit City was spent in various capacities.  Initially worked in store operations where I was responsible for maintaining store compliance in merchandising and inventory management.  I was later moved into a sales position where I was routinely among the top sales performers in the store and the district.  Eventually promoted to sales manager where I was responsible for developing individual sales associates as well as overall team structures, designing business plans and facilitating the overall customer experience.  Ultimately role developed into a specialist with sole responsibility for assisting underperforming stores.
