My Timeline

My life journey has been integral in shaping my identity as both a professional and lifelong learner. My life experience has provided me with a strong foundation in this regard.

1978 to 2010

 

California born and raised
​

I grew up in San Jose, California but I have been lucky to have lived all over the United States.  I have called California, Oregon and Massachusetts home.  I have lived in Colorado since 2010. Having lived in a variety of different locations has given me a strong sense of personal identity as well as a wealth of social perspectives.

2010 to Present

 

Parenthood
​

In life, I believe everyone experiences at least one watershed moment.  Mine was on October 20, 2009 when I became a father.  Apart from the way parenthood has enriched every aspect of my personal life, I believe there has been no more valuable an experience to me as an aspiring educator.  

Looking Beyond...

An eye towards the horizon...
​

For me, maintaining a focus on my future is as critical as understanding my past or appreciating the present.  My long term personal and professional goals are intertwined.  Central to this, are my aspirations to move forward along my educational path towards a career in training and development.
